About the Role
We are looking for a receptionist to work in our busy and friendly Doctors surgery to help patients access our services. As a Receptionist in a General Practice (GP) setting, you will play a crucial role in providing good administrative support and services to all members of the practice team in which you are supporting.
Main Duties include:
Receiving and recording of telephone messages taking appropriate action
Management of appointment system
Monitor flow of patients into the waiting room
Ensure the clinical staffs receive medical records as requested.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
